What is Growth Design?
I define growth design as: the practice of driving business growth through unlocking authentic customer value. I see it as a specialization of design focused on high impact work. It can be applied to almost any organization or project that has a goal to grow.
Growth designers are now highly in demand with more job openings than people to fill the roles. But there is not yet enough support or education for designers who want to learn these skills. A few of us are working to fill this gap while keeping information accessible to designers without big company budgets. Some of the pioneers of this field include Chetana Deorah, Molly Norris Walker and Ran Liu—all of whom have shared invaluable contributions for anyone learning growth.
