Lex runs a program called Growthtrackers where business owners learn how to use marketing experimentation to drive more leads and sales. She is the host of The Low Energy Leads Show where she explores the leanest possible marketing you can get away with.

Before starting Growthtrackers, Lex spent 10+ years leading growth projects for tech companies in Silicon Valley. As a growth designer, she worked with clients like Gusto, Prosper, The Black Tux, Joyable, Nissan and Macy's. During the course of her career, she worked for three digital agencies (Kluge, Neo Innovation and Carbon Five), as a client-facing design lead and also supporting new client acquisition and agency-side marketing initiatives. As a topic expert, she worked with analytics tools Amplitude and Avo to evangelize data-informed growth practices through videos, events and written guides.

Lex is well known for popularizing the practice of "growth design." She developed her own growth design methodology and taught it to companies around the world, speaking and facilitating workshops on designing for business. In 2016, she created GrowthDesigners.co which has grown into a thriving global community with thousands of growth design practitioners. Lex has spoken on growth, data and design at conferences like the Future of Web Design, Data Science Salon, Amplitude's Amplify, Segment's Synapse, Grace Hopper Conference, Pluralsight Live and the Nasdaq Entrepreneurial Center in San Francisco.

Now, Lex is on a mission to help indie businesses get seen and get sales without being beholden to big tech. She is based in Atlanta, GA where she co-organizes the Atlanta Solopreneurs Co-op and avoids the haunted waters of Lake Lanier.
